Primal Scream

Formed in 1984 and winners of the first ever Mercury Music Prize for 1991’s ‘Screamadelica’, Primal Scream have influenced a generation of fans over their 20 year career. Fronted by former Jesus & Mary Chain’s Bobby Gillespie with Andrew Innes (guitar), Robert Young (guitar), ex-Felt keyboardist Martin Duffy (keyboards) and Stone Roses bass guitarist Robert ‘Mani’ Mounfield, they signed to Alan McGee’s Creation Records in 1985 and the rest is history.

The Automatic

Scattered somewhere throughout the academic corridors of Great Britain are four very confused admissions tutors. Faced with the choice of spending years getting drunk and in debt as students, or drunk and famous as rockstars, the four boys who would be The Automatic really only ever had one option. Kaiser Chiefs

Kaiser Chiefs formed up in Leeds in the summer of 2003 and thanks to the phenomenal success of this year's NME Awards Tour are now one of the UK's biggest bands. The band features Ricky Wilson (lead vocals, owner of stylish blue and orange suit), Andrew 'Whitey' White (guitar), Simon Rix (bass), Nick 'Peanut' Baines (keyboards and modeller of impressive pork-pie hats) and Nick Hodgson (drums and vocals).

Ordinary Boys

It's only a year or so since The Ordinary Boys burst on to the UK music scene with the two and a half minutes of pure energy that is 'Maybe Someday'.
